Universitat de València, 7-8 November, 2024
Given the situation we are experiencing in the Valencian Region, and after all due emergency protocols were activated by our institution last Sunday, we will be holding our conference online. Below is the final schedule with all confirmed speakers and the links to the different sessions and panels.
General Description

Since the turn of the 21th century, The main aim of this Workshop has been to periodically offer an overview of the latest trends in the research on gender and language around the world, with special emphasis on its cross-pollination with a number of disciplines, especially Translation Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Cultural and Media Studies, Sociology, Politics, Linguistics and Literary Criticism.
This year’s edition will be devoted to igniting feminist debates about Translator Studies. Combined with the driving force of feminisms, subject-centred perspectives are some of today’s most prominent approaches into the subjectivities of translation.
