Since the turn of the 21th century, The main aim of this Workshop has been to periodically offer an overview of the latest trends in the research on gender and language around the world, with special emphasis on its cross-pollination with a number of disciplines, especially Translation Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Cultural and Media Studies, Sociology, Politics, Linguistics and Literary Criticism.
This year’s edition will be devoted to igniting feminist debates about Translator Studies. Combined with the driving force of feminisms, subject-centred perspectives are some of today’s most prominent approaches into the subjectivities of translation.
